Good morning Tina!

Good morning! We are glad you are worshipping with us today. Please let us know who you are, where you are watching from, and how many are watching with you.

“will of man” – not just intellectual or cognitive. No, the birth is truly "of God". John 6:44

Disaster Relief Trip – depending on this week’s storm/ Plans are to go Mon Sept. 21 and return Fri Sept 25. Types of work: Chainsaw work, Yard clean up, Roof patch work, Food distribution

Louisiana Baptist Children’s Home Fall Food Roundup Collecting food Sunday Sept. 13 and 20 Any dry food items, canned fruit, cooking oil, bottled juice, cereals, salad dressings, sauces (BBQ, alfredo, mild salsa), pickles, and cleaning supplies, paper products, and hygiene items.

Examples of not receiving Him: John 6:24-29 – crowd sought out Jesus & John 6:63, 66 – People had thought they could believe & receive Jesus as someone who fixed their physical needs & problems

“will of the flesh” – not by the works of the law See Galatians 3:1-3

3. Becoming God’s Child is through a wonderful Work of God and not by our own doing – vs. 13

The World knows it’s Creator. Romans 8:19 tells us that all of creation is waiting eagerly for the redemption of mankind and the coming of Jesus.

When John the Baptist who was the forerunner to Jesus was pointing people to Jesus, some people did receive His teaching but others did not. See Matthew 3:1-3, 7-10

Jesus' own family and the people from Nazareth did not receive Him. Mark 3:20-21

Church Camping Trip at Fontainebleau State Park - Nov. 6-8. Each family is responsible for reserving their own camping spot.

Just because someone doesn’t believe initially, doesn’t mean their hope is gone. Skeptic to believer - Acts 1:14

2. The World becomes God’s children only by Receiving and Believing in the name of Jesus

Are you in the World or are you a child of God? Have you received Him according to your terms or as Who He is? Have you believed on His name?
