Hey Church!

How's your time in the Word of God each week? How was it last year? What are you doing this year so that you can either maintain your time in the Word or carve out time in your day for God's Word?

Does the Word really make a difference?

I want to encourage you to join us this Sunday, January 12 at 10:30 as we look at Hebrews 4:12 and learn how God's Word can truly impact our life.

If you missed last week's sermon on Prayer, I want you to encourage you to watch it and be encouraged in your prayer life. What you and I believe affects how we pray!

Hey Church family!

The first Memory Verse for the Month Of Prayer and the Word is Matthew 7:7-8.

"Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened."

In context, this doesn’t mean that we can just ask for whatever we want and expect God to give it to us whenever we want it. The following verses of 9-11 make it clear that God is a Good Father and when we ask, He determines what is best for us. He determines if it is good for us or not. God is always able to do mighty things but what we ask must be in His Will.

So, this year, let us boldly ask, seek, and knock to the Lord to do great things in and through Redemption Church. We believe that God is able, but we also trust in God as our Good Father to do what brings Him the most glory. - Pastor Byron

Here is the link to the first Sermon in our Month Of Prayer and the Word series. The sermon was entitled - "What I believe affects how I pray". We studied Mark 9; James 5; and Matthew 7

Hey church family,
This Sunday as Pastor Byron mentioned starts our Month of Prayer & The Word. We are excited to introduce a new song to you called “Not Afraid”. As Pastor Byron challenged us in his earlier post saying this:
“This Sunday, we will be challenged from God's Word that what we believe, affects how we pray.
What do you believe about God's ability? Is He able?
What do you believe about God's view on how you live affecting your prayer life?
What do you believe about when and how God should answer your prayers?
Your answer to these questions affects HOW you and I pray.”

This song will be a great reminder for us that when we face battles and struggles, we don’t have to be afraid and worry about going through it alone, because God is with us! God is faithful to keep His promises and true to His word and He will be with us every step of the way. May you be encouraged by this song and we look forward to worshiping with you this Sunday as we give God the glory.

Hey Church Family. This Sunday, January 5, begins our Month of Prayer and the Word focus to start our New Year as a church.

In our worship services this month, we will set aside time to pray together for different elements of our church each week. We want to seek the face and favor of God over His church and our ministries.

Also, I will be challenging us from God's Word each week on the importance of Prayer, the Word, and praying through and living out Our Mission Statement as a church - Delighting in God, Declaring Jesus, and Discipling All People.

This Sunday, we will be challenged from God's Word that what we believe, affects how we pray.
What do you believe about God's ability? Is He able?
What do you believe about God's view on how you live affecting your prayer life?
What do you believe about when and how God should answer your prayers?

Your answer to these questions affects HOW you and I pray.

I want to encourage you to be there to hear this Word.

Also, I want to encourage you to start the New Year off by being connected to a Small Group if you aren't involved in one. This is an important way that you can be Discipled and Cared for within our church.

I look forward to seeing you this Sunday!
